Bandhani is one of India's oldest resist-dyeing traditions - each dot of pattern tied by hand before the cloth ever meets colour. In black and white, it is graphic without being loud. The flare, the pleated neck, the needle slit at the back - the silhouette is modern, but the fabric has an old story to tell.

No two Bandhani pieces are identical. The hand that ties each resist point determines the pattern. This textile has been crafted by fourth generation artisans.
