Handspun and handwoven cotton. It has the kind of weight that is not heavy, just present. The kind of fabric that holds its shape at 9am and still looks like a decision at 9pm.
The fit is oversized box. Which sounds like it could go wrong, and on a lesser shirt it might. But the slightly curved hem stops it from swallowing you whole. The folded sleeves keep it from looking borrowed. The slim collar keeps it from looking casual. The two patch pockets gives you gravitas when you’re trying to look unbothered. It works.
I prefer to wear it untucked over pants, mini skirts, shorts, a situation I know is going downhill. But in case you prefer to tuck it in, well, it’s a damn smart look. It is, in short, the shirt that makes the rest of your wardrobe easier.
